haha, the jacket reminds me vaguely of Paddington Bear - I think it's the toggles in the front. And I had never noticed the fugliness of his shoes, but damn. Maybe they're just two different shades of green? Not that that's much better. And are they boating shoes? Or somehow inspired by boating shoes? I'm in no position to talk about fashion, but Chuck has some of the worst outfits sometimes. I mean, the trademark scarf is absolutely garish.

Do you watch the style video blog over at cwtv.com? The show's wardrobe person explained Chuck's fashion decisions. Apparently they're going for "urban dandy," a'la Andre 3000 and Russell Simmons. Apparently the pastels and brightly colored footwear are a must. (ITA about the shows; they absolutely look boatingish.)
